In a world where people worship luck, a random cosmic event called the Grand Shuffle gave some people superpowers, making them Odd Breakers. The story follows a crew of five: Caelum, Murko, Arica, Severa, and Veivíet, forced to work together by a rookie gang-leader wannabe. They call themselves mercenaries and will take any weird job for money: stealing, assassination, acting as butlers, maybe exorcism. The main catch is that they are completely awful at using their powers. Even though they have raw talent, they have zero control. Their abilities constantly cut out, backfire, or just refuse to work when they actually need them. They still manage to complete their missions—mostly through raw luck.
